Ashwinkumar has extensively appeared and argued in various Judicial and Quasi-Judicial forums across the country in high-end commercial disputes and large-scale criminal liabilities. Besides being a renowned litigator appearing for and against Body Corporates and HNIs, He has been recognized and appointed in various positions in Committees and Commissions appointed by the High Court of Madras. He has rendered service pro bono in over two dozen cases on Suo Moto direct appointment by the orders of the High Court of Madras including defending death row convicts. He was an integral part of the Committee for Settlement of depositors of Universal Trading Solutions Pvt, Ltd which was formulated and instituted by the orders of Madras High Court. The committee was responsible for settling thousands of innocent depositors across the country. He was also appointed as one of the election officers in various election commissions by the Madras High Court including the Election Commission for film and Television Producers Guild of South India.​

Ashwinkumar is an alumnus of Christ University, Bangalore and has a Master’s degree in Business law from the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore.
